The LEARJET 45XR is a jet manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace aircraft from USA. This airplane is capable to fly non-stop up to 3,500 kilometres (1900 NM), keeping enough fuel to fly to its alternates in instrumental meteorological conditions. The LEARJET 45XR has a ceiling of 15,000 meters (51.000 feet), so it overcomes any severe weather condition at speeds near 1000 kilometres per hour (450 Kts.).
Bombardier Aerospace specially equipped both LEARJET 45XR of Aviacion Civil Salta with a dual Spectrum Aeromed MEDEVAC system wich makes them the only two aircrafts in the world that could transport simultaneously two patients in intensive care in a same flight.
The LEARJET 45XR has enough room so paramedics and physicians can monitor attend and if necessary perform emergency surgery to two patients at the same time. Incubator connectors, resuscitators, respirators, oxygen and vacuum pumps as well as multiple 110-240 and 12-24 Volts power sources are part of their standard capacities, compatible with the most sophisticated Intensive Care Facilities.
In executive version, the LEARJET 45XR can transport up to eight passengers plus a Flight Attendant. A wide external heated baggage area can hold up to 50 cubic feet of luggage.
Both LEARJET 45XR of Aviacion Civil Salta receive regular maintenance at Bombardier Aerospace Services (BAS) facilities in U.S.A. The aircraft serial numbers are # 232 and # 254 with their respective Tail Numbers LV-ARD and LV-BXD.
